Betty Dylan's fourth release...Heart Land... has receieved rave reviews. Some consider Heart Land to be Betty Dylan's "banana album". Sprinkled with a few Betty Dylan favorites from previous releases which feature legends Bernard Purdie, Carol Kaye, and Jerry Jemmott, Heart Land also features several new original gems such as the rollicking roadhouse shuffle Are You Happy Now, the joyful jamming of The Man, the roots rocker Don't Toss Me Away, and the tongue-in-cheek tale about being at the mercy of the medical establishment, Magic Potion Man. Recorded while their RV was parked in Bloomington, Indiana, the newer tunes feature drummer-to-the-stars, Kenny Aronoff (Melissa Ethridge, John Mellencamp,...), Vulgar Boatmen bassist, Jake Smith, and violinist Megan Weeder.
